What Resource Maps is and isn't
Resource Maps is a community directory. We do not endorse any listing, do not verify most claims independently, and do not handle bookings or payments. The verification badges on a listing are issued by the third parties named on each badge — not by us.
Listings
- You can submit listings for resources you operate or know personally.
- You agree the information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you have the right to submit it.
- We may reject or unpublish any listing at our discretion. Common reasons: spam, misrepresentation, content that violates the values of the directory.
Verification badges
- Claiming a badge you don't actually hold is grounds for losing the listing's ownership and being barred from the platform.
- Badges expire on the schedule set by the issuing body. We demote expired badges automatically and email you 30 days before expiration.
Ownership claims
Anyone can claim an unowned listing by proving they control it (matching email domain, phone callback, or document review). Approving a claim transfers ownership. We log every transfer.
Acceptable use
- Don't scrape the map or the API for resale.
- Don't impersonate someone else.
- Don't submit listings for businesses that don't exist.
Liability
Resource Maps is provided as-is. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of the resources listed. Use your judgment, contact owners directly to verify what they offer.
